Flix is a production-ready Movie and TV streaming app template built with FlutterFlow and Firebase, designed for creators who want to launch content or TV guide style apps quickly. The template uses Stripe one-time payments to control access for a fixed period such as monthly or yearly. Access expiry is stored in Firestore and checked on every app launch or login. When access expires, users are prompted to renew. This approach avoids subscription limitations while giving full control over monetisation logic. Flix includes a modern streaming-style Ul with featured content sections, user profiles, favourites, content locking, and dark and light theme support. The layout is fully responsive and tested across common mobile device sizes.
The app is preconfigured for movie and TV metadata using the OMDb API, which provides IMDb-based data. OMDb offers a free tier with optional paid upgrades. API keys are not included and must be added by the buyer. Authentication options included: Anonymous authentication (enabled by default for demo
access) Email and password authentication Third-party services used: Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) Stripe (one-time payments
only) OMDb API (Free & Paid Option, API key required)
No API keys credentials, test users, or sensitive data are included in this project. Flix is suitable for movie libraries, TV guides, creator platforms, educational video apps, and membership-based content services.
